十月28日，墨西哥與日本在哥倫比亞巴倫幾亞艾德嘉倫特利亞 （Edgar Renteria）球場上演2018世界棒壘球總會 U-23 世界盃棒球賽決賽戲碼。

主審是美籍Kevin Sweeney喊出playbal。 Hiroki Kondo替日本投出第一球。一局下半，墨西哥將球交給了 Carlos Morales。
