WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2025

Building on the success of the WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2024, which recorded close to 20,000 participants and captivates about 200,000 online and offline spectators by showcasing the fusion of traditional and virtual baseball at the HUGAN WBSC ePremier12 2024 in Tokyo Dome, the WBSC unveils the structure of the WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2025, which begins in April and concludes with the World Finals 2025.

The WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2025 features a mix of online and offline qualifying tournaments. Most qualifiers are led by member federations, strengthening regional engagement more than ever, while the Global Qualifier serves as the last chance for anyone to secure a spot in the World Finals with no regional restrictions. All compete in WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS.

  • 28-APR to 4-MAY: Hong Kong, China Open
  • 12-MAY to 18-MAY: Lithuanian Open
  • 19-MAY to 25-MAY: Italian Open
  • 26-MAY to 1-JUN: Dutch Open
  • 9-JUN to 15-JUN: Swiss Open
  • 16-JUN to 22-JUN: Chinese Taipei Open
  • 23-JUN to 29-JUN: French Open
  • 30-JUN to 6-JUL: Argentina Open
  • 14-JUL to 20-JUL: Indian Open
  • 21-JUL to 27-JUL: Japan Open
  • 11-AUG to 17-AUG: Mexico Open
  • 18-AUG to 24-AUG: Korea Open
  • 25-AUG to 31-AUG: Women's Qualifier
  • 1-SEP to 7-SEP: USA Open
  • 15-SEP to 21-SEP: Global Qualifier

Inaugural Women’s Qualifier

The WBSC has launched the inaugural Women’s Qualifier for the eBaseball™ Series, marking a significant step toward greater inclusivity in eSport. The online tournament takes place from 25 to 31 August. The top two female players from the online competition qualify for the in-person final which takes place at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 on September 28. The winner of the Women’s Qualifier Finals advances to the World Finals Super Round. This initiative aims to spotlight emerging female talent and empower the next generation of eBaseball™ stars on the global stage.

World Finals

The World Finals comprises three phases - Opening Round, Super Round and Finals.

Six players have qualified for the Opening Round with two players automatically qualifying for the World Finals Super Round in the United States.

The qualifying criteria for the Finals is:

  • Two (2) final qualifiers emerging from the Opening Round:
  • Four (4) direct qualifiers: the winners of the USA Finals, the Global Qualifier, the Women’s Qualifier (Pre-registration is available here), and a Wild Card selected by the WBSC.
  • Two (2) national tournament winners with the highest Power Rate as of 24 August 2025.

World Finals Opening Round

The Opening Round takes place online from 31 August to 28 September.

benzen (Mexico)
Mexico Open champion and 4th place finisher at the HUGAN WBSC ePremier12 2024, returns hungry for the title.

MSQA (Italy)
Winner of the Italian Open and returning after competing in the ePremier12 Group A in North Carolina.

Sirochan (Korea)
Korea Open champion and the only female player in the Opening Round, making her Series debut on the global stage.

Boomer_77 (Switzerland)
Swiss Open winner and ePremier12 European Finals runner-up, back in the spotlight for another shot at glory.

Miho (France)
The youngest finalist, Miho earned his spot by winning the French Open and an epic extra-inning victory in the French Finals.

Nahuel (Argentina)
Topped the Argentina Open in July and makes his debut in the WBSC eBaseball™ Series.

World Finals Super Round & Finals

The World Finals Super Round and Finals take place at North Carolina State University from 8 to 9 November, 2025. It showcases eight elite POWER PROS players from around the globe, vying for the title of World Champion.

Tomokun (Japan)
Tomokun earned his spot in the Super Round by winning the Japan Finals and with the highest Power Rate. As the top seed, he defeated Kurobane 6–5 in the semifinals and edged out SI 3–2 in the final to secure his place among the world’s top eight.

SHE SHE (Chinese Taipei)
SHE SHE qualified for the Super Round with the second highest Power Rate and by capturing the Chinese Taipei Finals title in dramatic fashion, beating Doublebass 6–5 in an exciting five-inning match. He returns to the global stage aiming for the ultimate title.
