義大利宣布WBSC女棒世界盃布拉格分組陣容
義大利棒壘協會（Italian Baseball and Softball Federation，FIBS）公布了2026 WBSC女壘世界盃布拉格分組的義大利代表隊名單，總教練 Craig Montividas 選出了 16 名球員。
投手（4 名）：Laura Bigatton (Bollate 1969)、Ilaria Cacciamani、Julianna Verni (Forlì)、Christina Toniolo (Saronno)
捕手（2 名）：Marta Gasparotto、Erika Piancastelli (Forlì)
內野手（5 名）：McKenzie Barbara (Saronno)、Izabella Cimino (North Florida Ospreys)、Giulia Longhi (Bollate 1969)、Alessandra Rotondo (Saronno)、Melany Sheldon (Caronno)
外野手（4 名）：Isabella Dayton (Chicago Bandits)、Sofia Fabbian (Thunders Castellana)、Giulia Koutsoyanopulos (Saronno)、Laura Vigna (Forlì)

教練團成員將包括投手教練 Greta Cecchetti、心理教練 Rafael Colon、影片分析師 Lacey Wormington 以及體能教練 Alessandro Muccino。Sara De Luca 則將擔任牛棚捕手。
義大利隊將於六月7日，週日結束集訓，並參加阿姆斯特丹邀請盃至六月12日。義大利隊將對上荷蘭、澳洲與捷克，隨後前往布拉格與中華台北進行另一場熱身賽。
布拉格分組
世界第九名義大利將從六月16至20在布拉格分組出賽，面對第四名加拿大、第五名中華台北、第十名捷克、第十一名澳洲與第十四名古巴。
2026 WBSC女壘世界盃小組賽階段
2026/2027 WBSC女棒世界盃是一項兩階段賽事。
利馬（祕魯）將從七月14到18日主辦第二分組，奧克拉荷馬市（美國）將於九月12到16日主辦第三分組。
2027決賽
各分組兩名球隊以及兩張外卡球隊將晉級從2027年四月5到11日在澳洲Redcliffe進行的決賽。
此次錦標賽是 2028洛杉磯奧運壘球的首項資格賽事。
