Kangaroo Bus Lines named Official Transport Partner for WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2027
Softball Australia and the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2027 Organizing Committee have announced a partnership with Kangaroo Bus Lines (KBL), confirming the company’s role in delivering transport services for the global event.
A proud homegrown business that has served the region for over 47 years, KBL brings strong local expertise and community connection to support one of the region’s largest international sporting events.
Softball Australia CEO Sarah Loh highlighted the importance of local partnerships in delivering long-term impact.
“Partnerships like this one with Kangaroo Bus Lines are exactly how we turn a major global sporting event into lasting local benefit,” Loh said.
“Each time a team bus moves through this region, it supports local drivers, shines a global spotlight on homegrown businesses, and proudly puts the community on display.
“The flow-on effects of choosing local partners reach far beyond the tournament itself, and that’s something Softball Australia is proud to champion.”
KBL will deliver seamless and reliable transport operations, ensuring athletes and officials from around the world experience the region at its very best, with every journey safe, efficient, and on time.
Kangaroo Bus Lines CEO Darren Webster said the company is honoured to support the world’s top softball nations on the international stage.
“As a proud local, family-owned and operated organisation, Kangaroo Bus Lines is truly honoured to be partnering with Softball Australia as they host the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2027,” Webster said.
“While we’ve built our reputation on delivering safe, reliable, and professional transport services within our local communities, being trusted to support world-class sporting teams on the international stage is something we are extremely proud of.
“It reflects the dedication of our staff and the high standard of service we strive to deliver every day.”
The WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2027 will be played from 5 to 11 April in Redcliffe, Australia, just outside Brisbane.
The event will mark the first qualification opportunity for softball on the road to the LA28 Olympic Games, with one Olympic berth available for the top-ranked team at the Finals 2027, excluding USA as the host nation.
