Nicaragua confirmed as hosts of WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2026

Nicaragua beat China to claim the bronze medal at the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2024. While Nicaragua have hosted the WBSC Baseball World Cup five times (in 1948, 1950, 1972, 1973 and 1994), it's the first time they will host the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup, which has been held six times since it's inception in 2014.
