CPBL's Lions make Asia-Pacific International Baseball Centre their new home

The Lions bid farewell to Tainan Municipal Baseball Stadium, their home for the past 36 years, and moved into the brand-new stadium at the Asia-Pacific International Baseball Stadiums and Training Centres (ASPAC) complex. A sold-out crowd of 23,500 celebrated the inauguration of Taiwan's newest ballpark as the Lions defeated the Hawks, 3-1.

CPBL opens in style, defending champions Rakuten Monkeys walk it off in the ninth

The Taiwan Series 2025 winner, Rakuten Monkeys, defeated the CTBC Brothers in dramatic fashion by scoring the winning run in the bottom of the ninth with a hit-by-pitch on the season-opening night. It is the first time in CPBL’s 37 opening games that the game ended with a bases-loaded, hit-by-pitch.
