Register Now: Clean Sport Education webinar launches WBSC Anti-Doping Education Series

The Clean Sport Education webinar on 18 February will cover key information that elite athletes need to know, going through practical scenarios and will include a Q&A session. WBSC members and athletes will also have the opportunity to participate in three other webinars taking place on 25 February, 4 March and 11 March.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), in collaboration with the International Testing Agency (ITA), invites WBSC Member Federations and athletes to take part in the Clean Sport Education webinar, the first of four online anti-doping seminars designed to support clean, fair and informed sport.

Scheduled for Wednesday, 18 February, at 14:00 CET (Switzerland time), the webinar will provide elite athletes with essential knowledge about the anti-doping system and its rules. The session will combine practical, real-life scenarios with expert guidance and conclude with a live Q&A session.

The webinar will be delivered in English, with simultaneous interpretation available in Spanish (español), French (français), Japanese (日本語) and Korean (한국어). Automatically generated captions will also be available to ensure broader accessibility.

All participants willing to attend must register online via the Zoom platform. Registered participants will receive a PDF copy of the presentation, including direct links to the resources discussed during the session.

Continued education through the ITA IF Webinar Series

The Clean Sport Education Webinar forms part of the WBSC Integrity Unit’s anti-doping campaign, Play-Ball, Play-Fair, which also offers WBSC Member Federations the opportunity to join the ITA IF Webinar Series – Edition 1.

This three-part series will cover key anti-doping topics and is open to all WBSC members:

  • Wednesday, 25 February (14:00 CET): Introduction to Anti-Doping
  • Wednesday, 4 March (14:00 CET): The Prohibited List, Medications, TUEs and Supplements
  • Wednesday, 11 March (14:00 CET): Testing Procedures

A single registration via Zoom will grant access to all three webinars.

Once registered, participants will also receive access to the ITA IF Webinar Handbook, which outlines learning objectives, provides links to relevant tools and resources, and includes information on certificate completion.
