Japan closes 2025 on top of WBSC Men's Baseball World Ranking

Chinese Taipei and USA complete the podium as of December 31. The Netherlands scores the only improvement among the top 10 programmes, moving up to ninth place.

Japan has finished 2025 on top of the WBSC Men's Baseball World Ranking with 6,676 points while Premier12 champions Chinese Taipei follow with 5,112 points and USA in third place with 4,357 points. Korea (4,192 points) and Venezuela (3,653) complete the top five in a ranking, which includes 85 programmes across the five Olympic Continents.

Men's Baseball World Ranking

The Netherlands (2,690 points) record the only improvement among the programmes in the top 10 since the previous update on 12 November, advancing to ninth place, while Cuba (2,622) falls to 10th place.

There are no changes among the top 20 while Spain (No. 26), Austria (27) and Hong Kong China (28) all gain one position, while Curaçao loses three positions and is now No. 29. Thailand, up one step, closes the top 30.

Perù (No. 31) gained 16 position to become the most improved programme since November.
