Paris meeting marks promising step forward for international future of Blind Baseball

The French Institute for Blind Youth hosted the meeting. Tom Nagel, a WBSC Paralympic Commission incumbent member, represented the French Blind Baseball Association. A project developed in Vienna by the United Nations Sports Inclusive Initiative and the Italian Blind Baseball Association will serve as a benchmark for development in Paris.

The Italian Baseball Softball Hall of Famer died at 83. He had been among the founders of the Italian Blind Baseball Association and had succeeded Alfredo Meli as the President.

Winter Baseball Season is in full swing in the Americas

Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Nicaragua opened their seasons between September and November. Colombia and Panama will start between late November and December. All of the final series are scheduled for January 2026.

Australian Baseball League 2025-26 to open on Thursday, November 13

The regular season will end on January 18, and the top two finishers will be in the best-of-three ABL Championship Series. The rosters include players from NPB, KBO and MLB organisations. Pictured above is former MLB pitcher Jack O'Loughlin who will play for the Adelaide Giants.

WBSC Premier12 star Cody Ponce leads Hanwha Eagles to their first Korean Series in 19 years

The Eagles defeated the Samsung Lions in five games. They will face the regular-season winner, the LG Twins, in the best-of-seven final series, which opens on Saturday, October 25. The Twins have a roster loaded with WBSC Premier12 2024 stars.

Hanshin Tigers and Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks to compete for Japan Series title
