WBSC publishes second edition of Members Handbook

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) released today the second edition of the WBSC Members Handbook, which is available in English and Spanish.

Following the launch of the first edition in 2024, this updated version of the Handbook continues to serve as a vital resource for WBSC members, providing comprehensive guidelines to strengthen governance and foster the development of the National Federations.

"We find the international game of Baseball/Softball at an important juncture as it continues to grow in popularity around the world," said WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari. "We are united under unique objectives as well as development hopes and plans but their are challenges as well. I am confident that with support from all of our National Federations and my team, we can enable the WBSC to continue to flourish and establish a thriving Baseball/Softball society where each of our members plays an integral role."

As the international baseball/softball community evolves, so does the support the WBSC offers. The 2026 edition of the WBSC Handbook reflects the latest developments within the organisation, including various amendments to the Athlete Transfer Rules, updated events, and an expanded range of services available to National Federations.

Members will also find essential topics for optimising the daily management and operations of their federation. Additionally, the Handbook provides the most up-to-date practical information on how to work with the WBSC and utilise its services for members.

The WBSC published its first Members Handbook in January 2024 as part of its Strategic Plan 2022-28.
