Bagmati Province win Nepal Baseball5 National Championship

The defending champions defeated the Sudurpaschim Province in the final at the Earthquake Memorial Multipurpose Covered Hall in Kathmandu. Deepesh Majhi earned MVP honours.

The Bagmati Province defeated the Sudurpaschim Province in the final, 14-8, to secure the second Nepal Baseball5 National Championship. Bagmati were the defending champion.

The Earthquake Memorial Multipurpose Covered Hall in Kathmandu hosted the three-day competition. Seven Provinces and one University team participated.

The Lumbini Province defeated the Koshi Province in the third-place game and earned the bronze medal.

Deepesh Majhi (Bagmati Province) earned MVP honours.

The Secretary General of the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) Rajiv Shrestha presented the awards during the closing ceremony. Bhim Singh Gurung (Secretary of NOC) and the leadership from the Nepal Baseball and Softball Association also participated in the ceremony.

"This championship marks a significant step forward in our mission to grow the fast-paced Baseball5 discipline within our region," commented Dipak Neupane, President of the Nepal Baseball and Softball Association.
